Guidance
- If you haven't previously had a requirement to have
a document translated, then the following guidelines may
help:
- Where possible, it always helps if you can provide
us with an indication of the word count. Our invoices
are generally based on the target (final) word count.
This can vary between 10-50% depending on the language
pair.
- Please advise us how the end text will be used. This
will give us a better understanding of your individual
needs. We generally provide all completed texts on word
documents, but other formats are available upon request.
- Placing an order with us means that the translation
will only be undertaken by a fully qualified linguist.
We always place work with translators who have sufficient
knowledge and experience for each job. As you know, if
a word or sentence is mistranslated it can affect the
way in which the overall text is construed. Getting it
right is of the utmost importance to us.
